Trade constitutes the heartbeat of the business world and as the initial opportunity of a country to establish diplomatic relation which will be further developed into corporations in other fields. These trade activities are closely related to logistic activities which served as BUL’s consideration to develop its business in the general trade by establishing a company under the name of PT BAHANA INDOMITRA (BI).

In line with the company policy to become an integrated transportation rendering service business: in land, sea and air BI will position itself with cargo owner to enable contributing significantly to other companies such as those engaged in shipping, charter, land transportation, forwarding, load and unloading, warehousing etc.

BI by its integrated transportation support is expected to enable improving its competitions power by ensuring goods shipments to the buyers under competitive prices.

At its initial activity the company has exported teak wood flooring to Taiwan. Its further development was probing the export of such commodity of finger joint/laminating and sawn timber of forest woods (such as maranti, kamper, bengkirai) and other natural resources such as coal, quartz and etc.

On the  other side the company will also try to enter into cooperation with foreign companies by inviting them to invest in Indonesia in line with the available market potentials to support the Government program in combating unemployment which recently has been increasing significantly from its number point of view.

BI will probe the possibility of cooperation with some Foreign Investment producers in particular those of South Korea who have opened domestic industry as sale agent of their products in the domestic market
