An unexpected surprise turns up in one of the dresses, then the store is broken into and several of the new wedding dresses are stolen, along with the office's floor safe!
What is going on?! Adri's got two celebrity weddings coming up in just a couple of months--she doesn't have time to be sidelined or sidetracked by all of the weird things that are happening. I changed my mind several times on who the guilty person was. Not to spoil anything, but some of the things that happened aren't related to the others. I was totally surprised by the ending and how it connected to why she moved to Sun Valley, Idaho. I love that she adopted the stray kitten and how he ends up saving her and helping to catch the guilty party. The wedding and craft ideas at the beginning of each chapter are fun and I saved some of them.
Rachelle Christensen does a great job keeping the suspense going throughout the book and keeping you guessing who did it. I look forward to reading the other 2 books in this series. I know that she is amazing at character development and setting a quick pace. This book lived up to my expectations. Adrielle Pyper is an entrepreneur. They take up a huge chunk of her time and help her cope with the murder of her best friend. Adri and her partner, Lorea, add wedding dresses to their services. Adri has an inquisitive mind and a strong will to have her business succeed. These two driving forces propel her into situations where pieces began to fit together and she uncovers the mystery. There is a little bit of romance in the story. Adri has a lot on her mind and plate, she has a hard time finding the time to pursue a relationship.

There are two potential romantic interests, but it's not a love triangle. Adri isn't a person to play games and is, for the most part, upfront about her feelings and intentions. The book has some surprising twists and turns that kept me reading. I was very happy with the outcome of the book and hope that there will be more "Wedding Planner Mystery's" in the future.
I have been patiently waiting for the day I got to read this book. I was sent an ARC copy in the mail and it has just been sitting there, staring at me, waiting, until I could read it. Rachelle Christensen is a writer I always enjoy. She has an easy reading style with good flow and good characters. This book sort of mixes the light and fluffy with the suspense and danger. I thought it was a good balance. I know lots of people like mystery book I have been patiently waiting for the day I got to read this book. I really like figuring out who the bad guy is.
It makes me feel smart. In the beginning, I did suspect everyone of being involved somehow- the delivery driver, the jeweler neighbor, the boyfriend, everyone.

At first I was a bit confused because it was feeling like I missed a previous story or something. But slowly things unfolded and I had a back story within a story. She is fighting every day to keep moving forward and capture her dreams. As a reader, it gave me an instant sort of bond for Adri. She was someone that I wanted to succeed. Adri has some awesome customers, and some real bridezillas; you would like to help her get rid of them. As far as the men go Adri goes from famine to feast, with two guys, Dallas and Luke, and one is a bit to fast for my taste, and the other is almost to good to be true. I enjoyed reading this book, but some parts were a bit wordy, and long. Big coincidence how everything falls into place, but it does have some good secrets here. Be prepared for a page-turner to find the answers to all of your questions, I had to stay up late and finish. I received this book through the Publisher Shadow Mountain, and was not required to give a positive review. Apr 14, Shauna rated it it was amazing.

As a fan of mystery and suspense this book was incredible. It starts a little slow but just stick with it because as soon as it picks up, you won't be able to put it down! I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery book! The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was because of the slow beginning but in the end it was definitely worth the read!

Adrielle Pyper Adri is a wedding planner. She's just moved to Sun Valley, Idaho, from San Francisco, shortly after her best friend was murdered three days before her wedding. They are currently working with tw I've been looking forward to reading this book since I participated in the cover reveal in April. They are currently working with two brides--the bridezilla, Sylvia, a soap star diva, and Natalie, Lorea's best friend who is sweet and engaged to Sylvia's ex-boyfriend, Brock, a movie star. They start out receiving their first shipment of gowns and Sylvia's alternate gown is missing and it looks like their shipment was tampered with.
They know Sylvia won't take the news well and plan to convince her to go with her first choice. Adri takes Natalie's dress home to take out the hem and finds something that shouldn't be there. She's nervous about it and not sure what to do since she needs the dress for Natalie's wedding. Adri is interested in Dallas, who had waited on her table when she went to dinner with Lorea.
He asked her out and they had a great time. Then, she meets Luke Stetson, a gorgeous, Harley riding attorney who is set against marriage. And then there's the hottie who she's never met but sees when she goes for a run. Dallas starts pursuing her and he seems absolutely perfect, but why can't she get the other men off her mind? There's a lot going on in this book, and I loved how everything came together in the end.
I would forget about one certain storyline and then it would appear again and bring up more questions. I liked Dallas until we met Luke. Her conversations with Luke were much more entertaining, but I also could see why someone like Dallas would appeal to her. He was attentive, persistent and bold. Luke didn't say anything good about her profession and kept his true identity from her so she wasn't sure she could trust him.
Both Dallas and Luke kept appearing and I knew who I liked better but wasn't sure which one she would choose until the end. It then became very clear as to who she should end up with and I was very happy with the ending. It was satisfactory but also leaves an opening for more! It sounded fun and interesting. A light cute mystery. One my mom always says to give a whirl. So I gave it a shot. I was glad I did. This was just what I needed. The story just flowed and kept you in the moment without taxing you. You get entertained watching Adri and Lorea deal with Bridezilla Syliva and her antics, intrigued by the mystery of the dresses and their connection to the robbery of them and the stalking of Adri, entertained by Luke and his struggling feeling over Adri as she tries to cope with hers for him and her dating life in general, the mystery of her best friends death Briette and how it relates to Adri and her actions in this book, and the romance of Dallas and Adri and how off it felt from the beginning.
Each chapter gives you some fun craft tidbits but also gives you a entertaining moment in the book. You see how things play out and feel the excitement for the planning of a wedding, to the mystery of the dresses and the danger that Adri is in. Christensen has written this so that you really are just being entertained instead of feeling bogged down or like you are being brought in to many directions at once. You are just kept in the moment and not really allowed to wander and try to ponder things to much. The book allows you to keep your mind from wandering and has you in each moment without being too heavy in its emotions or descriptions but just enough to have you right there with each action, moment and twist.
The characters are written in a way that they will keep you intrigued and wanting to find out more about them. Luke is the one that captures me the most. I do want to know more about that hottie as Adri calls him and I hope that he and Adri do find happiness together. Dallas gave me the creep factour and Sylvia was perfectly written as a bridezilla and just spoiled and jealous person.
Lorea and Colton you just smile and shake your head at. A wonderfully light and entertaining mystery that will keep you on your toes and excited to find out who stole the dresses, why and what will be next in adventures for Adri and her friends and family. I've always thought that planning weddings would be a fun occupation — but I've also heard about various bridezillas that can populate the wedding scene. Adrienne Pyper is a wedding planner — she knows her way around dresses and cakes and invitations and favors.
Until her best friend was murdered right before her wedding, she thought life was wonderful. With the aid of her friend and co-worker, Lorea, Adrienne has managed to land two huge weddings — one for a popular movie star and his bride-to-be, Natalie, and one for the bridezilla to end all bridezillas. The other possibility, at least in her mind, is the hunk she keeps running into while running. Said hunk keeps turning up — but, no! Their first shipment of wedding dresses comes in from China — including the dress for Natalie and the one for Bridezilla.
Bridezilla, aka Sylvia, is the opposite — a real nightmare. Life just got very bad. On the plus side, there is Dallas — and the hunk, Luke. Christensen keeps us guessing at the outcomes all the way to the end of the book. A great read — very entertaining and well-written. Jul 20, Mason rated it it was amazing.

This book was such a fun read. This book was super cute also.
I know, sounds kind of like an oxymoron, but it was mysterious and cute: I just loved Adri. Adri is a wedding planner along with her assistant Lorea. They are a great couple of girls hoping to take their business to a whole new level. They decide to add wedding dresses to their store. It was suppose to be a good thing.
Adri has a two brides she is planning weddings for and one is Sylvia and she is a bridezilla, The other is Natalie, Lorea's friend, and she is super sweet. It's fun to see the differences. I could honestly not understand why anyone would be a bridezilla. No one likes mean girls. When they get their first shipment of dresses there is already a problem. Some are missing, and one has a rip in it. Adri takes one home to take out the hem for Lorea and she finds a surprise in the hem of the dress.
One that she is sure that dangerous people are after. Instead of calling the police right away she hides what she has found, and the worlds gets a little more dangerous for her after that. There is something in Adri's past that has kept her closed off from others for a while. That is until Lorea convinces her to go out with someone. Lorea decides to go out on a date with Dallas, a man she had gone out once before with.
She is so happy that she decided to go out again. She also has a mysterious hottie that she has been seeing on her runs. A new lawyer rolls into town by the name of Clay Stetson. Okay, how can you not love the name Stetson. Clay and Adri don't really hit it off right away. Clay is a total cynic when it comes to marriage. Clay is handling Natalie and Brock's prenup. Clay seems to be showing up everywhere now along with Dallas. I loved this story. There is so much going on and I love how it connects in the end. Again, I thought I knew who the bad guy was.
