David is also presently a senior investment analyst at Hovde Capital, responsible for analysis and valuation of investment opportunities for the FIP funds, particularly of companies in the insurance industry. People who have invested for years will learn how to achieve faster growth at lower risk by eliminating unnecessary and sometimes hidden expenses and maintaining better diversification. The first section of the book, "Laying a Foundation," explains how money grows and the relationship between risk and reward.

This was the first step. I still find learning about money pretty boring but this book made it somewhat enjoyable to learn.
