The author does a wonderful job rhyming the words to make the story fun and engaging for little ones. The author also puts to use amazing imagery words that help promote the imagination while reading along. The illustrator did an amazing job using fun, colorful, and simple art that little child will enjoy. Overall, this book is a wonderful choice for any family who wants to promote a biblical worldview that indeed G-d alone makes all things found in the natural world, animals, bugs, birds, fish, and even you and me.

The little boy in the story asks his mama each time he meets a new friend if God made this animal too. The sing-song-y story style and the sweet pictures make it fun to read and reread. At the end of the day, with a new puppy snuggled up close, the little boy listens as his mama tucks him into bed and tells him that God made him very special too.
My girl has always been a lover of books and animals. It's little surprise that nearly all of her favorite books are books about animals. And farm animals hold a special place in our hearts. A year later, and she still picks out this title at bedtime--and baby boy is getting old enough to enjoy it, too!
Both of them are great additions to your library if you are looking for sweet stories with animals in them for little ones!
As you all know by now, when it comes to children's books, I really pay attention to the artwork too. These drawings are sweet and simple and yet each animal is easy to recognize and point out. Perfect for little ones learning the names and sounds that each animal makes!

God Made the Animals is a board book with padded top cover, the story is set on a farm where there are various animals and a little boy is curious about them and asks his mother that where the animals came from.

The little boy in the book asks his mom about all the farm animals that he can see and his mom answers him that God had made them all. The book has a very good rhythmic paragraphs and with it very cute illustrations done by David Walker that my daughter loves. While reading the book kids also learn about the sound the animals make, count the animals drawn on the page and learns about special features or characteristic of the animals. Overall it is a cute book that I love reading to my daughter, she even read it by herself quite a few times, it makes a great bedtime story for small kids.

What child doesn't love to make their noises? God Made the Animals Rhonda Gowler Greene captures the curiosity and unending questions of little ones. If you're a momma of a little you know all about the cycle of question after question. With the sing-songy verses the momma gently responds to all of her little boy's queries.
As they move from animal to animal the son continually says "Mama, look! I really like how the momma responds that only God can make these animals and give them their particular makeup. I am pretty sure that once you read this aloud to your little one they will begin to respond in all the right places with the animal sounds. The book itself is a padded board book that is very sturdy for the multiple readings that you are surely going to be doing.
When the words have a rhyming flare it is actually fun to read it again and again. I think you'll also enjoy the illustrations by David Walker.
His use of disproportionate features makes for a whimsical visual that goes really well with the verses. This book would be a great addition to any child's library. Children that adore the animals that are found on farms will like this storybook offering that points to God as the creator of every single one! This story is lyrically written with rhymes that flow when reading. The illustrations look like they were painted and are absolutely adorable. There are chickens, ducks, pigs, cows, horses, goats, puppies, and sheep! Every page is a joy to explore together with my Baa!
Every page is a joy to explore together with my children! We follow characters of a mother and her son as they explore a farm and meet the animals. The boy exclaims his wonder and excitement much like a child would and his mother always replies back with a truth about God and the characteristic of the animals they meet. Children can count the animals, learn their sounds, gaze at that habitats, and understand that it's because of God that we have such amazing animal friends to learn about. This book has a great educational value and because it ends with the boy being tucked in bed to sleep it's an ideal choice to read in the evening.
