Jim Croft shares where he first had encountered demonic spirits inside of him and a pastor prayed over him, but his reaction wasn't anything like the movie Exorcist. He just felt the weight lifted off his shoulders, not heavy with these sins anymore that the pastor called out and binded up. He also shares other stories in relation to strongholds and demonic encounters. He keeps giving credit to Derek Ministries, and praises them throughout the book that bothers me a little. He finally starts to tap into the topic in chapter 5 about Satan's kingdom.
The reason for purchasing this book a couple months ago to find out about recognizing and defeating demonic forces, which is known as invisible enemies; spiritual warfare. There are some things that I didn't fully agree with in this book.
One person found this helpful. Jim has great insight into the subject of deliverance because of his years of experience. He also is blessed with a well read and schooled theological mind. His book is very readable and easy to follow. It is an extremely practical guide to deliverance. I was encouraged by the whole book but was especially interested in three areas: Clearly understanding what demons are, 2.
How to deliver someone from demonic harassment and compulsion, 3. How to do self-deliverance. I have read widely on the subject and have been personally involved in the ministry since This is one of the most practical and effective books I have read. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the subject.
I have purchased multiple copies of Jim's book and given it to my friends and fellow believers. Jim Croft's insight and experience pull back the curtain and shed some much needed light on the subject of demonic activity and influence in human lives. He helps "de-spookify" the spirit realm. This is not a book for those who desire a religious discourse or a religious practice. This is for you who desire to be more productive, peaceful and helpful to others. You have the ability and authority in Jesus Christ to remove the obstacles in your life and to help others do the same.

Jim's book , Invisible Enemies, is a well balanced, biblically sound introduction to the deliverance ministry. It contains a no nonsense approach that is solid and free from hype and sensationalism.
Part biography, part teaching a very good read. Well written and inspiring. This along with others on the subject of deliverance is in my opinion the most pressing matter in Christianity today. I applaud Mr Croft for a book that has personally led to spiritual deliverance not only for myself but also my wife. I will be ever grateful.
