When she meets the two, everything changes for Kish, especially when it comes to Devan. This author is known for her cozy witch stories and characters that you fall in love with. Witches are trained and little ones nurtured. The stories and the characters are all intertwined and wonderfully written. Because they are different, and written for a slightly edgier audience, in my opinion.
Language is a bit more adult. It still falls in the wonderfully written category, however. I enjoyed the futuristic aspects, the characters and the romance, such as it was. And it was a romance of sorts. I would have liked a bit more about the romance, and I think I missed that part a lot. Normally all her books are 5 star reads for me, but due to my initial confusion over the talents, and the romance being a bit lacking, I rated it 4 stars-which still means it was an excellent read.
I will definitely be reading the next one, sooner rather than later. Dec 21, Lenora rated it it was amazing. I was glued to the story and very sad when I had to stop reading to go to work.
I love the characters and storyline. I found it very heartwarming. I'm eager to read the next book in the series!
The Fixers of KarmaCorp 1. Retrieved March 11, Published October 16th by Fireweed Publishing Ltd. The plot isn't too deep and the action is minimal; were I were a critical book reviewer reading for technique and depth, I might not understand the rave reviews it has garnered from Ms Faye's fans. Oct 21, Carolyn Barrows rated it it was amazing.
Oct 22, Matthew rated it liked it Shelves: I was a huge fan of the A Modern Witch series. This was a pleasant little diversion and probably would have been 4 stars if not compared to her books under Debora Geary. It was a nice enough book It was somewhat emotional The characters did not connect quite as deeply and this story Dec 16, Shaleah rated it really liked it Shelves: This story ended in an odd spot for me but it is still happy.
I was thrilled to read about a heroine that has female friends and makes new ones--instead of a loner or Disney orphan. There is a hero, but this story is from the heroine's perspective so we don't get a lot of time with him. But the tender feelings are oh so deep! And all without going into the bedroom! The reader is immersed in the world and learns along the way. I want to read the o This story ended in an odd spot for me but it is still happy. I want to read the others in this series! There is profanity but it's not prolific. Oct 21, Carolyn Barrows rated it it was amazing.
Enjoyable read , beautiful imagery If you have read this author's work in the past then be prepared for a new genre. Her voice full of life's magic still comes through but we now find ourselves in a sci fi environment. Looking forward to seeing where our new friends from this book are headed. If you are new to the author give it a try she has a great voice not matter what type of story she's telling. Thank you Audrey for a gift of story that lifted my spirits this week.
Feb 15, Kippereast rated it it was amazing. I am a guy in his sixties on disability after injuring his back in who enjoys reading SF. However I am not a fan of books with psychic tilt, but for some reason I couldn't put this book down. The story grabbed me from the beginning and never let go until I had finished it.
I still don't know why. I am going to have to read the book several times to figure out why. All I can say at this point is that this was a great read and well worth the time I spent with Lakisha and Tameka. Give it a try Why? Give it a try if you are looking for something a bit different.

Easy reading - read it all in one go. Basically a Prince Charming story set on a future planet. However, way too girly and fluffy for me. I am not in touch with my fluffy side and do not care to ever go there. Nothing wrong with the writing, just not the style or topic for me, therefore only 3 stars.

Won't buy any of the rest of this series or probably anything else from this author, unless I should suddenly find myself in need of girly romance. May 12, Tiffany Noble rated it it was amazing. Omg I was so not expecting to be dragged into a world so powerful. I went in dragging my feet, and then got the approval of the most scary person in charge to stay.
Moving semi slowly but at right the right pace for me. Aug 14, Alan rated it it was amazing. The singer meets the man an then the woman but things aren't as they seem man not interested or the woman either A girl with unusual talents is sent out to handle riots, disputes, any other sort of trouble among the galaxy on a daily basis. Songs, singers and choices I'm not sure what to make of this book but strangely I enjoyed it. I am musically challenges so I kept trying to jump out of the story but it kept pulling g me back in. I was fascinated, confused, entertained, chagrined and frustrated all in one.

This is a book about her singing and her talent and is amazing. Mar 24, Candice Lisle rated it it was amazing. Wow Loved the characters.
Loved the twists and turns. A book about love. Unconditional love and how hard it can be to accept from those who love us. Mar 23, Spencer Johnson rated it it was amazing. Original Good characters, original setting, and an emotional rollercoaster of a ride. I enjoyed reading the story and hope the rest of the author's books are as enjoyable. May 24, Jeanne M. Jacquet rated it it was amazing. I am a singer and found this book entrancing. I can't wait to see what is next for Tee and the others. Jan 15, Kristen rated it it was amazing.
I loved this series. It's so original and fresh that I just fell in love with it. At first, I was scared that there wouldn't be a bit of romance in it, but I was proved wrong. I always like a bit of romance in my books if possible. I also have to admit her other books "Lesbian Assassins" set me back a bit and made me leery of reading this book. That's such a different topic from Witch Central books which the author used to write under another name. But I'm grateful that OH. But I'm grateful that I gave this book a chance. I'm already chomping at the bit for the second book.
It's funny that this series could be called sci-fi or fantasy, but somehow it feels so real. Like it's not fiction at all.
