More specifically some of the uses for the oils covered were different than the ones I had already covered and this increases the scope of their uses to me. I use aromatherapy in my work as well as my personal life and so it really will make a difference in the way I practice on both levels. I loved the recipes,the in-depth breakdown of each oil, and the information about creating a wellness plans for your clients. The exercises were a lot of fun and the questions at the end of each lesson helped cement the information.

When I had completed the course, I e-mailed Ms. Moorehead late the night I finished it and she replied by the following afternoon with my certificate of completion attached. I read a review that indicated that she is hard to reach but her email is included with the course and she does indeed respond in a timely fashion. This is a great course and would be wonderful for aromatherapists of all levels.

I took lots of notes, made lots of highlights, and I will be using this as a reference book in the future. This course is thoroughly thought out and presented with excellent tips and recipes as well. It covers the history of aromatherapy as well as specific oils and their uses. All-in-all a very good reference.

I could definitely do without the new age part , and there was a lot of it, but after weeding through the various Chakra's and such, it has some good information. It was VERY informative and not wishy-washy. How it is so vital to our surrounding and effective when one needs a little piece of mind!

Because of that i looked into a course and found this one that Laura Moorehead offers on line, so i purchased it, and truly loved it. I felt the course truly educated me on essential oils and how to use them, and so much more. If you are interested in the healing through essential oils as i have been then i would strongly recommend you take this course.

I am slowly working my way through the book. So far it has been mostly informative. It is just one of several reference books I look to for information on essential oils. It is not what is pictured in the book. An aquarium pump and glass diffuser that looks more like a pipe than the pretty urn shape in the photo. I am almost afraid to use it, LOL.

It also cost a little more than the stated price in the book. That part didn't surprise me, and it wasn't enough to really make a difference. With that in mind, I am definitely glad I have other resources for my essential oils! Okay, to be fair, I went ahead and added 20 drops of oil to the diffuser and plugged it in. I was surprised that I could actually smell the oil after a few minutes.

And that little bit of oil lasted quite awhile. But it still isn't very pretty. One person found this helpful.

I really enjoyed this class! It was self-paced, informative and gave many ways to begin to experiment with essential oils. I appreciated the questions at the end, which touched upon information given in each week's lesson. Yes, this is a beginner class, and for me, it was perfect. Not overwhelming or intimidating, but more inviting as to sparking my curiosity to learn more. Definitely a great way to start learning aromatherapy.

Also, her essential oil kits and follow-up classes are very economical. Will move on to her next level. Thank you for peaking my interests! I have purchased many books on aromatherapy recently. I was looking for a course to take to broaden my knowledge and skills. I was totally wrong! Ms Moorehead did a fantastic job of organizing this course, sharing recipes, and giving practical ways to use the oils and recipes. I ordered one of her kits and it was shipped immediately and arrived in a few days. Loved all the information this was packed with.
