Will goes after the truth. Everyone involved in the case to begin with, including Karl's family, are suspects. I like Will's character and his reasoning skills. The methodical way he goes after this case, putting personal feelings where he needs to, makes Will the guy you want to help you if you need it. With his wife's help Will is doing everything he can to find out who is responsible, even if it leads back to Karl.

The intensity picks up as Will puts the pieces in place. I couldn't wait for it play out and read way into the night so I could find out.

It is not just Karl's situation at hand, but the threat against Will and his family as it comes to a head. Was Karl the only one with "4 Weeks To Live? Very easy to get involved in this book right away. Some very interesting twists as you go along will keep you turning the pages. This is the third book in the Will Hogarth series. Since I've not read the others I found these teasers to be very intriguing and makes me want to go see what the rest are about.

I enjoy a book that has the ability to unexpectedly grab your attention and hold you to the last page. As a matter of fact, it would also make an excellent movie. Thank you Don McGraw. You put down a book and say "this story wasn't up to what I've come to expect from this writer. Someone whose name was enough to sell you on a new book without even reading a review. So, have you or have you not, resolved to avoid automatically scooping up the next offering from this writer? I know I've certainly had that experience, and have resolved to avoid making the same mistake next time. Well folks, not to worry.

We have a new name to remember. One who seems to have all the talent in the world. What we have here is a very cleverly constructed plot, peopled with entirely believable characters. And the story is definitely of a piece. Throughout the book, there is nary an ounce of filler. It's chock full of drama, suspense, and intrigue Best of all, there is nothing extraneous to cause one's mind to wander, or in any way to otherwise upset the flow of the story.

There are no big "holes" that make the reader wonder "where did this come from? For a first attempt, this book actually should rate about 6 stars. Another review referred to it is as "excellent? Of late, I've had occasion to read a number of new writers, several of whom strike me as having that indefineable "stuff" that will set them apart, somewhere near the top of the heap very early on.

Based on this first effort Mr. McGraw richly deserves a spot amongst this group. One person found this helpful. This is a fantastic book! Had me turning page after page to find out what happens next.

The Industrial Revolution (18-19th Century)

If you want to read something filled with plot twist and well developed characters then this is definitely worth your time. Just when you think you know who's side you want to take in the murder case and political setting a new twist comes along and your left in awe at what could possibly happen next. This book actually made politics seems fun, while still focusing on the protagonist inner greed and their own agenda.

I love when I find a book that has action and keeps me guessing until the end! Extremely well written and thought out, I seriously recommend this book to anyone looking for a page turner. This well written political thriller has a unique way of presenting the plot. The real story is not focused on the President, candidates seeking the highest office in the land, or even an appointment to the Supreme Court. These lofty characters take a back seat to an Austin radical, his girlfriend Campaign Coordinator , an unremarkable FBI agent.

Add a poor guy locked away to never see the light of day, and you have The Sins of a Nation. I turned off the TV and stayed up to read this one! I like these stories that keep you guessing. You never know who is behind all these schemes. I really enjoy this author. How would you like to be kidnapped, hooded, restrained and find yourself in a foreign jail cell without access to your loved ones or your country?

The book begins with a mysterious "rendition" and piles on more twists and turns as Don weaves a tale of power politics and raw ambition and its effects on well paid employees of the United States Government and its affiliates. Each character is developed so that their good intentions and their greed and ambition as well as their fear and willingness to break the laws of man and nature are lain bare for the reader to examine.
