It is a great stand alone, but, I did enjoy it more 'knowing' the main persons involved. Using her psychic abilities, Brianna takes on a multitude of jobs to earn gas money, help out the local police detective, and direct some troubled souls towards the light. Psychic Brianna Sullivan is still in Lottawatah, Oklahoma. The apparition won't move away from Cooper and towards the light until Brianna figures out who killed her.

These stories are available on ebook form first, then came out in Print. I love the print version as I can go back and forth from story to story, without having to upload again if I want to remember a scene or character.

Brianna is an independent, sassy, fun character to follow along. The story is written in first person, so we get a great feel for her personality. This is the fifth book in the series, but the first I've read. While I had no problem following the story, I did have a lack of connection with some aspects.
