Please try again later. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. I read it in an hour. So not what I expected it to be. I expected a new story from Debbie Macomber and got tricked into a short story that was originally published in and I paid way too much money for it. Seems a bit underhanded to list this as a "new book" by Debbie Macomber when it is actually a very old short story dressed up as a new hardcover edition.

I have read and enjoyed many of Macomber's books, particularly the Blossom Street series, but this is the end of the line for this reader. I feel her faithful readers were deceived with this "new" book and overcharged, too.

This is a very short story and absolutely overpriced. I expected so much more based on all the other Debbie Macomber books I have read. I couldn't believe it when I came to the end! Then I read the previous reviews. I definitely learned a lesson here, the hard way. One person found this helpful. The healing process after divorce is what we see in this story.

Wall started with the adoption of a cat and a patient neighbor. I am a huge Debbie Macomber fan and was so happy to see a book a hadn't read yet. Although the story was as good as all of Debbie's books, the price was ridiculously high for what you got. The Kindle price was actually more than the hard cover, but thinking this was a new book, I paid the price.

After finishing the book in about an hour, I realized I had been had. Believe me, I will be very careful about buying any more Kindle books. I love Debbie Macomber! I have SO many of these books, it's ridiculous, but I do love them. They never get old to me. I read them over and over and keep buying more!

I am very satisfied with the seller and would highly recommend them! I would use them again. You can't go wrong here! Really really good buy! I hope this review was helpful to you. I have yet to find a book of Debbie's that I don't enjoy. I love her novels, her children's books and her inspirational books.

I get great joy from her novels and her inspirational books remind me to slow and enjoy the scenery, take joy in the little things. Her children's books always have a good message and the kids love the story as much as the artwork. I expected so much more based on all the other Debbie Macomber books I have read.
