If there is no burned food on it, just wipe it down with a cloth I actually use a wad of paper towels dampened with warm water right after you're done cooking. Water begins boiling after about 30 seconds if my stove is on high. I know it says your not supposed to, but I do dish-wash mine and they are fine and come out clean. Also even though I've used a sharp knife once or twice to cut something in the pan no scratches. Mine arrived with a few minor scratches on the preseasoning but all of them seem to be disappearing quite soon I spray a little pam all over the griddle before using it. I cooked some hamburgers on the grill side which turned out delicious and they got those great grill marks on them also. I've had no sticking problems at all with this thing so far. Cleanup is easy providing you have a stiff brush, a large sink and the strong arms required to carry it from the stove to the sink every time you wash it this thing weighs 15 pounds.
I highly recommend this griddle to anyone, it's very well constructed and looks like it will last a lifetime with proper care. The grease gutter has nothing to guide the pouring of grease. I can now cook bacon for the whole family in one shot, but with no little spout or other mechanism, getting the grease out of the gutter is a little dangerous.

No more lukewarm meals! I purchased this for use at a big buffet dinner party. I filled it before guests arrived, and it kept the food warm and maintenance free throughout the party. It's important to follow the instructions and fill the buffet server with food that's already hot. If you fill it with cold food, it will take forever for it to heat up. I put my food in the buffet trays that come with this buffet server, covered them with foil, and heated the food in the oven before transferring the trays directly to the buffet server. I'm looking forward to having it for holiday entertaining.

I use a medium-high heat. In general, the wok heats nicely and keeps food warm if you have to wait. The non-stick surface works very well. The food does not stay on the sides and has the tendency to slide down, but the cleaning of the wok afterwards is a snap.
I don't believe you will find a nicer wok in this price range. To get a nicer wok you will have to go to china town, etc. I have big hands and I find the handles a tiny bit small. I am 6'5" tall. The lid keeps the steam in, but be careful when tilting the lid as it will let all the water drop at once. The glass at the top of the lid is nice in theory, but it fogs with water droplets, so you really can't view once the lid is on.

Lodge Logic Dutch Oven with Loop Handles When I saw the price,free shipping, and factory pre-seasoning, this dutch oven proved irresistable. The size is great and the black color was attractive. Sadly, the factory pre-seasoning did not meet expectations! I learned to cook using cast iron, and I still own several "original finish" cast iron skillets, griddles and specialty pans tri-ply stainless steel is wonderful, but some things just cook more evenly with cast iron.
While cast iron is not difficult to season,it was just an added bonus to order a dutch oven that I thought would have an even, well applied finish to begin the seasoning process properly seasoned cast iron pans only get better over the years. When the dutch oven arrived, I was surprised by what seemed to be a discoloration under the finish on the inner surface of the pot lid. I used the dutch oven for the first time to make chili. The steam from the chili caused the "pre-seasoning" on the inner surface of the lid to mottle badly, and the area that had initially appeared discolored was revealed to be covered with rust.
A tell-tale metallic smell was also present usually a sign that your pan might need to be seasoned again. Needless to say, I was disapointed. This pan proved to be MORE effort than the original finish pans since I had to scrub down the lid to remove the remaining mottled pre-seasoning, and to remove the rust. I then just seasoned the lid properly the old-fashion way in my oven. I contacted the company to express my concerns ie, did I need to take additional steps to remove all of the factory applied finish and to ask if this problem was evident in other pans in the pre-seasoned line.
Bottom line, before paying full price plus shipping, for anything in the pre-seasoned line, I would compare the cost to the original finish, or to the beautiful new Lodge enamel cast iron items.
