I will read more from this writer all he needs is to cut back a little on the repetition of the main character's anxiety issues. That may be resolved in the next book. Here's hoping he writes it soon. Brodie's first adventure, Death Has a Name, was an intriguing tale in the life of a psychic private detective.
I thought it was an awesome read, with only a few flaws, one of which being I wanted to know more. A good flaw, mind you. Thaloc Has a Body expands on some things I felt were missing in the first novel. The strength of the novel is Brodie Wade.

A very interesting, tormented character that I can't get enough of reading. A powerful psychic, but very much damaged goods, understandably so. The only flaw in this novel, and this again is a double-edged sword, is that it feels short. I'm sure it's not really short, I just wanted more, as always. I loved this book.
The premise was well thought out and the main character was extremely well written. I felt for the characters and wanted there to be a happy ending, but life is always more complex than that. I believe that anyone who reads this cannot help but enjoy this great ebook. Take a chance - you will be happy you did. It took me a while to get this book which I wasn't too happy about but when I did, I was not disappointed.
Brody is one of my favorite characters written and I like to see how he deals with his quirks and fears. I have both of the Brody Wade books and loved them both equally. This one helps you get to know Brody better and what happened to him as a child. The story behind how he lost him mother, how he gained a friend in Phil and his finding love. This book made me smile, laugh and even cry, which always places a story in my favorites list. I hope the author has another story brewing, I want to know what happens next.
Talk about a detective novel with a twist!
Brodie Wade goes through Hell to get his man. This psychic detective has a friend in the police department that helps Brodie stay clear of the Captain that is no believer of the paranormal while still helping them solve cases. Another in the Brodie Wade series, Thaloc Has a Body deals with another case, this one being a mystery that may be linked to ancient Egypt. Solid writing and a decent plot make for a good light read.

Would you like to report poor quality or formatting in this book? I also thought that the ending wrapped up very quickly and could have been developed a bit stronger. A good combination of murder mystery and paranormal, with a wonderful command of creating suspense and angst. The Truth was alien and almost too cryptic. From being taken from his mother to institutionalized to dealing with his psychic abilities. Admittedly, the plot device which involves the framing of the protagonist is a personal no-no but there did seem to be some issues with what the story was really all about.
