Jul 23, William Johnson rated it it was amazing. Stick and Stack are Alive was fun to read. My wife and I read the story to our four year old daughter. The book was fun for all of us. My wife and I were arch enemies in kindergarten through third grade.

My wife said that reading the story about Bobby Jay was like reading a story about me in our kindergarten class. I hope the same happiness that I have had with my enemy, who turned out to be my best friend and the mother of our beautiful baby girl, is in the future for Bobby Jay. I lo Bobby Jay: I look forward to reading the rest of the series to see what happens. I would recommend this book for all children in grades of First grade and up to Fifth grade. Many of the children would be able to relate to the story. The chapters and length of the book would motivate the young readers and give a sense of accomplishment once they finish.

After each time the student draws a picture, it is stolen and the art ends up in strange places all over the school. No one has a clue who is doing it. The big surprise at the end is that the characters in the story are alive and they are drawing the artwork. There are many ways in which the story relates to society. One example is how Bobby Jay: One example is how the student is constantly thinking about Ug, his dog.

It distracts him every so often from writing his story. The book is written in a very interesting way and you can tell that the student has quite the imagination. The dialogue going back and forth between his characters is unintentionally funny at times, which starts to make you really appreciate the student's creativeness. Throughout the story, Bobby Jay's teacher gives him an assignment to write a story with pictures. Bobby Jay is then framed for drawing on school property that happened to look like Bobby Jay's drawings. I enjoyed this book and recom "Bobby Jay: I enjoyed this book and recommended it for children who are wanting a funny, entertaining, but still challenging book.

The book is perfect for beginning readers that want a chapter book that isn't too long.

This has to be one of my favorite chapter books. I really enjoyed this book because it reminded me of my grade school days. It took me right back to when I was in 4th grade. I enjoyed it being a mystery as well. Though kids may have a harder time understanding the ending, it makes perfect sense to adults that Peggy May was stealing Bobby Jay's work and trying to frame him for the drawings because she likes him.

He, in the end of the book, recognizes he likes her too and wants to be friends but d This has to be one of my favorite chapter books. When I read it, it sounds so funny because of how the words are placed in the book. This is a good book for kids who are looking for something funny and challenging to read. Good for middle grade and advanced readers. We were laughing through the entire book. Love it, now I'm going to by more from this author.

We also loved her book, The Lonely Chair!!! The only reason we didn't give 5 stars 1 word in the book not bad but shut-up we used it to teach our kids because Stick and Stack are alive Oct 17, Alexa Burnett rated it liked it. I'm not sure as a parent how whiling I would be to let my child read this book. It is a good book about a child that is wrongly accused of stuff. It shows how are past behaviors can make one just assume that we are the ones responsible because it sounds like something we would do. It has a good story line behind it but some of the wording isn't ideal as a parent stand point.

Now as a kids stand point it was a good book. I think every kids has felt this way at some point in life. Nov 21, Trevor Land rated it it was amazing. I thought that this booking was very intriguing. The little boy is blamed for running around causing mischief as many kids his age do. I really enjoyed the book because it reminded me of myself as a kid. I usually always did good things, however, I would end up taking the fall on alot of things I did not do. Another great one from Gean Penny.

I thought this book would be great for 8 to 10 year olds. It was funny and would be relevant to their lives at that age.

Most kids at that age have rivalries with their crushes. I also thought the illustrations suited the story. Oct 19, Thomas rated it it was amazing. Enjoyed the mystery of the book in all. Feel kind of bad for Bobby in the story.
