Many of the spells or rituals can be changed according to the needs of the reader. Kraig is very understanding that most sex magic in the occult has been biased or very anti-woman. He puts a humanist spin to sex magick. Sexual orientation or gender does not matter in this book. The only exception being the type of the "fluids" needed to complete a task. Other than that every spell or steps can be performed. I really enjoyed the history of sex magic. Kraig doesn't use silly words like chalice or sword to describe reproductive organs.

A penis is a penis. A vagina is a vagina. If one can't read those words than one probably shouldn't be reading this book to begin with. Although, if one has a sense of humor than one may enjoy the Joy of Sex drawings. This book does a marvelous job at explaining how magick works rather than how sex operates. If I was teaching a beginners class on magick I would use these sections for my students to understand how the laws of energy function. Kraig's explanation is the best I have seen thus far. Superior to what I have read in the past.

If you're a Gardnerian, Alexandrian, or work with "High Magick" than this book will be a perfect fit. It doesn't click with me. Shouldn't people who are experienced in working magick and now sex magick always be shielded. From the second one wakes up one should be shielded. Always be prepared if magick is to be done. So why is Kraig reminding people to invoke a circle or a shield? This should already be second nature. As cool as reading about Masonry and Kabalah is.

This is not my reason as to why I picked up this book. Even if I did the spells or rituals relating to the Kabalah I would get nothing out of it because that's not what I am interested in. Nor is it my path.

Can see a lot of stories coming out of this one! I enjoyed this book as well as the straightforward writing herein. Nothing is kept back about Sex Magick which is one of Witchcrafts and Mages best kept secrets and this book tackles most of what is practiced although not all.
