    • Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. The Kindle edition has no illustrations that I can find. Too bad Amazon doesn't caution you about this before you buy! I love all history of King Arthur, and this is one of the ultimate authorities.

    I'm just very happy to have my own copy. This book is an obvious and poor photocopy you can see faint library marks on some pages. The illustrations are barely distinguishable and the type is faded.

    There is even a dark shadow on the top of each page where the paper was not against the copier. I am shocked Amazon would sell such a poor product. It is going right back. See all 21 reviews.

    Amazon Rapids Fun stories for kids on the go. My oldest children, 9y, 5y, and 3y, all girls! The illustrations are pretty, the story is not too mature or gory, and we appreciate the character sketches in the back to help keep them organised in our heads. The 9y has already read ahead and finished the book and gives her thumbs up: Beautiful book - I love all the Usborne illustrated collections - this is the 12th one I've bought for my kids' library. The cover and printing is of a quality that reminds me of the way things used to be made, not cheap like so many books are nowadays.

    My kids love it! Bought this for my 3rd grader, but my 7th grader even loved it! Quality on the book, and illustrations are great!

    Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. I've always had a fondness for Arthurian tales, although most of what I know has come from movies such as Excalibur, Camelot, and King Arthur. This is much closer to the source material that Malory provided, I imagine, as I have not yet read his seminal work.
