A little bit about how Cerebral Palsy affects my life

Glenda is funny and inspirational at the same time. As she writes about her birth, you get the feeling that somehow she has connected to a higher calling in order to find the humor behind 'not breathing at birth'. Glenda has overcome all odds, gotten herself a great education, and has more than learned to 'do it herself'. She's now a public speaker! I can't wait to read what Glenda does next. I can really see her on TED. Glenda's parents were determined their little girl would live an active, happy life even though she had Cerebral Palsy. Glenda was determined to do things herself and went about finding ways to do them.

Glenda shares stories about camping with her family, traveling with the Girl Guides, and riding horses. She worked long hard days in college and got her degree. Then she became a businesswoman, using her skills and education for accessibility issues. Oh, yes she married her Mr. While in school Glenda learned to type with her left thumb, she has been writing ever since.
