I assemble fresh potting soil mixed with sand and compost; drainage materials recycled packing peanuts are lightweight and available ; pots, matched or assorted, of all sizes; and a pair of good, sharp pruning shears. Fill jar to the top with water and shake to thoroughly mix ingredients.
Marinate for several days at room temperature. Store in refrigerator but serve at room temperature. Make these well in advance and you will find them easy to bake at the last minute as a hot treat. They are also good cold.
