I went to Wayback burgers tonight Saturday, February 7, I was disappoint ed I ordered the fish platter my wife ordered the cheesy burger combo with two milkshakes. Oh yeahso let me tell you about the fish it was cooked in what I believe was old oil by time I got home to eat it it was totally unedable there was so much grease I just couldn't eat it.

My wife's burger was also covered in grease and understand ing it's a cheeseburg er but the amount agree step was inside her rapper when she opened it up was too much was way too much incredible. My mom and I loved Jake's Wayback Burgers. We thought the food was excellent. This is really an old-fashio ned burger joint with a family-fri endly atmosphere. We WILL be going back to this place!

Food was cold, had to return fish and onion rings because they were raw. Bathroom were very dirty, floor was dirty with spilled soda,water and food. Tables were not clean had to wash table down with Trash can was overflowin g with trash. Will not return to the Laredo Wayback Burgers. We had to wait waaaay to long, since they forgot an order and everything was so bland.

It's a great place if you like flavorless burgers that are just grease, the fries just taste like po Poor handling of food, order was wrong upon fixing it guy went from sweeping to touching my bun without changing gloves nor washing hands. I was very disgusted. This place is not worth it. Meat does not have flavor. A little expensive for what you get.

A lot of beverages were out, no straws, no cheese and wasn't told until after I paid and was given the food. Food took way too long. My milkshake was completely melted when given to me. Loved the homemade chips and the Wayback Gold sauce. The burger was good but seemed a little small!! The service was wonderful and she was very helpful for our first time being there!!!

Burgers were a bit dry. The dining area is small and when we went there was nowhere to sit for a while. They were trying hard and being friendly. Hopefully they can improve the quality of the food to at least match Wendys. Solid place in Frisco to pick up a burger. Burger restaurants seem to be a bit of trend lately-- so as these places go this is pretty good. I would say far better then the 'it's a burger' franchises. I had a plain burger loaded with only linings and pickles, my personal favorite.

They also have some big ol Hot dogs which is really win for burger places. Nice aesthetically inside the restaurant, has a couple of TVs going so sets a nice burger joint mood. Two places for improvement-- dump Pepsi and perhaps think of a liquor license to sell some brews, this place would work well with that. Had the veggie burger and not very impressed. Appreciate they have veggie option.

But if you are offering one, it should taste good. Fries were not great either and onion rings were the worst I have ever eaten. My buddy and I went here last night after a good workout and we were excited to try Wayback out for the first time. I ordered the single burger create your own and my buddy ordered a double burger with mushrooms, cheese, and chili, and we both enjoyed our burger. We also split a large order of fries which were huge and delicious. The guest service was pretty good-no complaints there. We enjoyed the decor of the restaurant, which had photos of items and fads through various decades.

My buddy also ordered a chocolate milkshake which had gummy worms in it and looked delicious! The only negative about this restaurant is that the prices are a bit high, but that's pretty much true with most of the "gourmet" burger places these days. My wife and I had been out and realized that we had missed lunch. Not wanting to eat at any of our usual locations, we saw Wayback Burgers and decided to stop in and check it out.

We ordered the Chessy Burger, bacon cheese fries and a couple of drinks. The staff was friendly and courteous. We took a seat and waited for our order which was cooked to order and within a short time, the burger was brought to us. The guy that brought our order realized we were sharing the burger and offered to get us a knife.

He returned seconds later with the knife and within a few minutes returned with our fries. While I was waiting I decided to check Yelp to get an idea of what to expect and I became a little concerned about some of the review I read. I was very pleased to see the burger came out exactly as expected and very juicy. While the reverse bun concept is initially a little strange, it works. The tomato was perfectly ripe and firm with great flavor and the meat was seasoned well.

While I was down to the last few bites of my burger, I decided to get a sample of their chili. While at the counter my wife asked if I was going to finish the last bite as she was pulling the tomato off and getting ready to finish it off. That shows how much my wife liked it, lol. The chili was good, the fries were crispy and tasty. We enjoyed the meal and the staff interaction. We will definitely be back.

I've been seeing this place under construction for months so figured I'd drop in and check them out now that they've opened. I'll start by saying the manager was very friendly and happy to have customers. The service was very good and the food was served to me quickly. From a taste perspective, I don't have any complaints. I enjoyed the burger a lot. The fries were good, crisp and not too starchy, the way I like them.

One stray uncooked fry made it into the pile, but such things happen.

I will say though that the side order of fries was really large. Half the size would have been enough for me, and if it would have taken a buck off the price of the combo that would have been great. As it was, I ate too many fries. I think that if I'd come with someone else, and one of us ordered the side fries combo, and the other just a drink, that would have made the overall price a little more onboard with what I expect from a fast-casual type burger place, and the portion would have been more appropriate.

I can't imagine one person eating a full size fry combo unless they are super duper hungry. All you can eat is often more than you should eat, after all. So if I come here alone again, I'll skip the fries.

Wayback Burgers

The burger was pretty big, so I probably could have gotten away without them. Or, I could order a smaller less pricy burger. I like Wayback better than Five Guys, but not better than Mooyah, mainly because Mooyah has a lot more choices and the burger I can fix there is darn near exactly what I like. I liked the fries better here though. I will return and try some other things, most likely when I have someone to accompany me so I don't end up with too much food and the price evens out a bit.

The place is nice, clean with a nice tv but the food was just okay.

I like that it's cooked very fresh but all food should be this way; so, the cost is not justified. Seriously, everything was way overpriced and if they don't get a handle on it, we will see another place close down. Very unfortunate, since they are on track of being decent. Friendly staff, quick service Bad: Food was ok Overall: Not overly impressive, but another visit may be required to finalize a position.

I visited during lunch with my wife. This location recently opened so we experienced some issues with ordering, but our indecisiveness contributed. However, the staff was incredibly accommodating to ensure we were happy with our order. I ordered a single burger with what I thought was sourdough. It turns out that this is really traditional bread placed on the grill and placed upside down.

That was disappointing, but merely because I prefer sourdough. This location is similar to a 5 Guys were the food is short order and you seat yourself and get your own drinks. The food wasn't bad, but not particularly memorable. On another visit, I'll likely expand outside of my original order to see if I something that will find more memorable.

Great burger, good fries! We wanted a "not fast food" burger and succeeded here. The burgers were great and my younger kids loved the grilled cheese and hot dog meals.
