The profit is in shipping and handling as well as building a customer email list. You find a passionate audience. Design a t-shirt that resonates with them. Promote the t-shirt via Facebook ads. Hope your advertising cost per t-shirt sold is less than your t-shirt profit. This is a lot more difficult than it sounds.
Basically you create a landing page that promotes a product with affiliate links. You buy Facebook ad traffic to it and hope the affiliate profits exceed the cost of ads. This, like all paid traffic requires quite a bit of testing. Your landing page copy must be outstanding and be able to convert people with no intention to buy anything to buyers.
This is the inverse of strategy 3 above. In strategy 3 above you get paid to promote various websites from you FB page. This strategy involves you paying other FB pages to promote your website. The hard work lies in you developing highly engaging content and posts and then getting other pages to actually promote your content.

What this method involves is offering a website free traffic from your FB page in exchange of a link to your site. You also need some very strong content to which your linking partner can link to. If you have a large fanbase for one FB page, you can leverage that audience for new sites which can help you grow your new page fast for no cost. This works best if the niches are related. You can post affiliate links directly on FB posts. I think a better method is sending your audience to a well written piece of content about the product on your website first… or a quiz.
If you get very good at using Facebook for any particular task or promotion, be it buying ads, posting highly engaging posts, etc.

You can also create and sell a course. This is a total win-win kind of deal, because as we all know… Facebook pages are hungry monsters that want and need great content all the time.
Wow Jim, you should be able to generate a very tidy revenue stream with partners who do cater to the pet niche. This could be great for you. Do you still find running ads to fanpage worth it now with such low reach. I thought of building up fanpage but with ad costs on fb and low reach im trying to focus on pinterest.
When managed well, you still get very good engagement from your fans and can still benefit from them buying or clicking on your stuff. I boost posts and I am going to boost a few partner posts best-performing to attract more fans. This partner revenue is working out to be very good passive, long term revenue… but as with all things Facebook you never know what could happen. I used Jetpack plugin to share new articles to our fans page.
But it seems small engagement. Should we to share it manually and turn it off? I use MeetEdgar and Viraltag for posting and they work okay. At the end of the day, the conversion part really boils down to the marketing fundamentals of making the right offer to the right audience at the right time.
While Facebook offers some intriguing new ways of reaching prospects and connecting with them, it does not change the reasons people buy. And they can get even more specific with their targeting. There is definitely a formula or a plan that you have to create order to be successful in making on facebook.
I seem to prefer facebook traffic over all the other major pay per click networks. My ROI always seems to be noticeably better. When it comes to PPC, Facebook seems to be the winner today. Across the board, Facebook seems to be a top contender for PPC. Any more of this and you just may get a backlink from my part of town.
And we wouldnt want that now would we? I was about to run a FB ad campaign and thus need the tactics that I should apply. I will be trying to make some sales and thus thats not a good news for me at all. Still When I will be running an ad campaign I will be tryiing to make it attractive with some promotional offer like a certain amount of discount, bla bla…Most importantly FB ads are cheaper and I can reach to more targeted audience.

However, these results were driven by far more than Facebook ads. The brand had a substantial budget for online display advertising and also invested aggressively in Public Relations and Blogger outreach including attending a number of blogger conferences where influencers were in attendance.
