Final Edge Cherokee Justice The Edge Series Book 4

Meredyth Sanger are both receiving twisted little care packages of human remains. Meredyth unbeknownst to her because she had been part of Child Protective Service when Luaralie was given up by her mother. Lucas because he now worked closely with Dr. Sanger and that whole guilt by association thing. This is a fairly well written story , I found it a little less hectic and with a little less punch then the previous books but did enjoy thestory.

One person found this helpful. Fantastic, with not a trace of exaggeration! I have to say that this is without a doubt one of the best police mystery, procedural and in its own way romance books I've ever read. I gave it five stars only because there weren't more available! Please, if you are a fan of this genre buy this book although it is part of a series it will work as a stand alone. I give it my highest recommendation for what that's worth. Never-ending action plus the unique serial killer will grab the attention of even the most jaded hard core fan of this genre.

I'm not going to give any spoilers, but will say that the ending had me in tears, happy or sad I'm not saying, read the book to find out which. I'm not an English major or anything, but the number of typos and poor grammar mistakes made it difficult to stay with the story. I don't know if it's just the way it was "translated" into an e-format or what, but I like a book to read like a book, not a bunch of weird characters thrown together and needing to be deciphered.

The story itself is enjoyable, but I really can't tolerate sloppiness. Frankly, if I was the author, I would be rather pissed off regarding the way this was formatted in the kindle version. Because if this is the way my books are viewed and received by the public, this is not a very good format. This book was a interesing story line but it took the author quite a while to get there.

First, all the books, I notice that Walker's books were originally from paperback. All of these typos is, at the very least, jarring. Second, I have reservations no pun intended about Walker's knowledge of police procedure. It's like reading an episode of Castle where cops and civilians seem to do whatever it is they want to do and come up with the roses.

Third, the leap from "episode" 3 to "episode" 4 when Stonecoat becomes a Viet Nam vet. In , when the first story begins in Cutting Edge, he is The Final Edge is somewhere in the 21st century--no dates are really given except once is mentioned. Even if Lucas Stonecoat was an 18 year old in the end of the Viet Name conflict -- he would be either in his sixties or nearing sixty, so there is a problem with the timeline.

I realize that there is a 10 year gap between 3 and but really--how does one age nearly 30 years? Additionally, Meredyth Sanger goes from a small woman in the first installment to a tall woman in the final episode. Also, she doesn't seem to have made the age leap that Stonecoat has; otherwise, why would she make the comment about being unable to have children? There is just too much of it.

Walker does try to throw in the incidental movements rubbing the back of the neck, sighing and the like but it just doesn't make up for the dialog where often the reader can't be sure who is saying what. So why did I read 's 1, 3, and 4? Because I'm a masochist? Because I like to finish what I start? I'm still trying to figure out the glowing reviews from other readers.

Perhaps they are seeing an aspect that I can't. Again, I am glad that I didn't pay for the books. They aren't worth the price.

FORTNITE DANCE CHALLENGE in REAL LIFE (All Season 4 Dances) vs Chad Wild Clay

One person found this helpful. This is the final book in the series according to what I have read. There is a sense of loss with the ending of any good series. I enjoyed the series and Final Edge. Having read Stone Cold by Parker had almost turned me on "couple" killers.

I was almost reluctant to read Final Edge because of this. The fact I loved the other Edges and Stonecoat convinced me to at least try the book. I was relieved that Walker gave me interesting complex Serial Killers. It was sheer delight. The complex pysche of the female killer was the draw for me to finish the book. I had to read to find out where she was going next. I started the series, as I said, because of Stonecoat. I was a bit disappointed in him and his lack of development in this book.

It was as if he was "wrapped up". This made sense after I read it was the last of the series. He didn't seem to develop as deeply as previously.
