It is also compelling, creative, and some of the best fantasy I've read. I've read Hunger Games the whole trilogy, actually three times since I started it. Highlight social classes discrimination and lack of human life respect which were and are of the real life too. My granddaughter loaned me this book. I haven't enjoyed sci-fi?

I never lost interest. I only read the book as my granddaughter really identifies with the character Katniss and I wanted to see what the attraction was. Well, I can understand now. What young girl wouldn't like Katniss?
