To date book one in the Wilde seies is my favorite. Book two dragged with no real mystery, drama or adventure. Apr 01, Harlequin Books added it Shelves: I don't usually read this authors books because they're basically sex books but this seemed safe and sounded interesting. I thought I would read about this strong woman who was going to give this Wilde brother, in more ways than one, a run for his money, you know, to show him she loved and respected herself too much and won't be an easy lay like the rest of the women he's been with,no matter how she feels about him, let him work for it In this instance what makes her better than the blonde.

I really give up, it seems in most cases the black or multicultural heroine isn't allowed to have self control, self respect or morals, but hey, she is having all the sex she wants, love sure doesn't come into it, that takes actually emotion and these two the only emotion seemed to be centered between their legs, one long one night stand. Oh, and I was lied to, this is a smutty book, everything between them is based on sex. Aren't the black or non white heroines in any of these ir books deserves to treated better than a man's sex toy? I loved the setting my favorite kind of romance - small town, cowboy, ranch life. The difference in this is that the hero is white and the heroine is black, which I love. The hero made me think of Jason Stackhouse loves the ladies, good-looking, hot body from True Blood, minus the dimbulb brains that JS has. This guy, Hoyt is pretty smart. Great chemistry between the leads.

The heroine is pretty, a chef the cooking show she won made me think of Top Chef, lol a A hot and spicy romance! The heroine is pretty, a chef the cooking show she won made me think of Top Chef, lol and has been in love with the hero since she they were kids. It was an quick read and easy to get into. And to talk about their past, feelings, and childhoods.

Also, when you get into the head of the narrative from the point of view of the hero or heroine, they are in present time but then it goes back to what happened that morning or a couple of days ago, etc. And then comes back to present time. It happened a lot in the book.

Other than that, it was a good book. I hope to read more of Ms.

Terry's books and the next Wyoming Wildes book. And I want to go back and read the first one. Dec 10, L. David rated it it was ok. After being disappointed with To Tame A Wilde, I wanted to give the author a chance to redeem herself. This is strike two. The only thing working for these two is SEX! Also, the author made a boo-boo. The Wilde brother's foster dad was Clint, not Jed.

Yes, I paid attention. As far as I can understand about Holt is his package spoke louder than his brain which, in this case, was out to lunch. He was Jasmine's first experience yet treated it as if it were nothing. That showed a lack of respect for After being disappointed with To Tame A Wilde, I wanted to give the author a chance to redeem herself. That showed a lack of respect for Jasmine and her aunt, Lilly who practically raised the Wilde boys.

Shame, shame on him This 2nd book's storyline was okay. I liked the steamy scenes in the story. I think To Tempt a Wilde is much better than this one. And it wi Shilah Wilde has called the Wyoming Wilde ranch home since he was a child.

Apr 15, Tqwana rated it liked it. I really wanted to love these books, but I was so annoyed with the grammar mistakes, the inconsistencies between books hell, between pages , and lack of continuity. I'm hoping that most were a result of being ebooks, but if the paperbacks are just as bad, then shame on her editors. I mean, book 1 Dr. Crandall's daugheter is Yasmine, but she's a completely different person in book 2, and then Dr.

Crandall's daughter's name ends up being Ellie. And Clint Wilde becomes Jed Wilde I I really wanted to love these books, but I was so annoyed with the grammar mistakes, the inconsistencies between books hell, between pages , and lack of continuity. I was so confused Ellie came home to work with her father but her childhood flame Shilah quickly brings up all the good reasons she prolonged her return. We get this great action scene a recap of what really happened and boom, its over.

After their father's death, the three brother continue to horse-breed and successfully make the ranch one of the largest in the world. Shilah met Ellie as a child when she had an accident notice how there's always some "accident" that these lucky women meet the men of their dreams!

He didn't say anything then, he was only a child, but years later when he saw her again, he was still in love with her even more. Yeah, Yeah, I know, but its kinda of corney and cute. They play the "back and forth" and "forth and back" romance game until they realize they are truly in love. There is a dark side and it's the "bad" guys trying to take over the ranch with Ellie's help as a USDA agent, she is not aware of their plot. The book has a pretty good writing style and she actually adds a little twist with a "killer" on the lose.

Like I said before, Mrs. Terry's sexually scenes should not be read in bed or around a man unless he is your husband or boyfriend. Nevertheless, I like the story despite all the flaw in the first half of the story. This is a sweet story between two people who failed to recognize their feeling for each other and i like the dramatic ending of the book. I can feel the anguish feelings that both Key and Sonia felt when Sonia left Key after the accusation. Jul 08, SuperWendy added it Shelves: Got to Chapter Six and then gave up. There was something about the writing that bugged me. By Chapter Six, especially in a category romance, I expect the main couple to be spending quite a bit of time together, and that wasn't really happening outside of said mental lusting.

Also, this is the fourth book in a series, so I wasn't reall Got to Chapter Six and then gave up. Also, this is the fourth book in a series, so I wasn't really invested in the hero's baggage. If you're already hooked on this series, or have a thing for plots that feature reality TV, this may work better for you. It didn't inspire outright hate in me - I was just bored with it. Too many books in the immediate TBR - so moving on Sep 23, Janet rated it really liked it Shelves: This was a sweet romance about one of twin brothers, who harbors a secret.

He is involved in a reality show and his love interest is the producer. Spark fly with this one.

To Desire a Wilde

It looks to be the beginning of a series tho it stands alone well , and hopefully the story of his twin is next. The lead couple were well drawn, engaging characters. A Hawaiian hero is a welcome change. The romance moved along quite nicely and the secrets revelation came about in a timely and well thought out manner. I found This was a sweet romance about one of twin brothers, who harbors a secret. I found the story pleasant, the romance entertaining and the dialogue witty. All in all, I would recommend this book and look forward to more. Jul 08, K.

What enjoyed about this book was that it was an easy read and flowed perfectly. I also enjoyed the fact that when this story starts there's already some tension between the characters Key and Sonia as they've already met and gotten underneath each other's skin. You can really tell that Terry did her research on the Hawaiian culture. To Have a Wilde is a story of about learning to take a chance on love, forgiveness and knowing who your true enemies are. I absolutely loved reading Key and Sonia's story and look forward to reading the rest of the Wilde in Wyoming series as well.

Kimberly Kaye Terry has definitely been added to the list of my new favorite authors. Jul 20, Lashaun Jordan rated it liked it. I enjoyed the previous Wilde novels. I was very excited to here the new Wilde was coming out and disappointed when I read it. Half the book drag along several times I wanted to put the book down just give up.

To Love a Wilde

I am a nosey reader especially if it is book by one of my favorite author it just has to get better. The intimacy and romance was awesome that's what made the book when they finally got to it. Not one of her best. This book went no where Especially with the lame reason for him K'anou lame reason for breaking up with Sonia. I just have 3 words for you Kanou But the story didn't totally suck. It took me a minute to actually start this book because I was reading others at the same time, but this book and this series is HOTT! I loved the companionship and friendship between Sonia and Keanu Key. Even through misunderstandings, love prevailed. Wilde in Wyoming Category: This book really took some time and focus for me to get through. For some reason it took a really long time to get interesting.

Once it became interesting it turned out to be a good read like all the other stories in the Wilde series.
