And the best thing indeed - the hot water filling many small pools comes from a mystical waterfall cascading down the black cliff and you are just lying there, melting there thinking it's just too magical to be real I just knew t hat! I totally fell in love with Banff! I was never told Grand Canyon had a handsome brother. And to me even more attractive!

Craig and I started this travel blog because we wanted travel to be our lifestyle. Our working holiday visa options were up due to age so we had to discover a new path. We have always thought that one day we would like to live a life of travel. Totally agree with working! Great tips, as always! We think it is the best strategy for travelling long term. Earn the money and travel at the same time—genius! I also managed to pay off credit card debt while I was working and travelling. It works so well. My dream some day is to work for a travel company eg airline,cruise company so I can get staff discounts so I can travel more!

I live in Sydney and have done full time since and off and on since My fave is to live in other countries and work — done in Italy, Pakistand, here in Oz and even… England!
I have a yen to live overseas again and am sure we will as a family one day. Meanwhile, the wee trips are SO mentally stimulating. Pakistan would have been an amazing experience. I am 21 graduating with my teaching credential and will be moving from California to Sydney in September for a year to be an au pair making Australia my 8th country, small in the big picture. It allows me to see how other people live and what they have to deal with on a daily basis. Traveling has humbled me and has broadened my perspective in so many ways. Traveling to places like Southeast Asia and other impoverished areas has given me a sense of gratefulness for the modern day comforts that I am able to enjoy. When I was a child, I used to read books voraciously.
I would read page after page and obsess over faraway lands. However, there are just some things and experiences that are too beautiful to put down in words. To me, one of the most beautiful things about travel is the fact that every day is different. There are no routines, no set rules, or no expectations. You can do what you want, whenever you please. I have been traveling the world together with my partner for over two and a half years now and one of the things we love the most is the freedom that travel and this lifestyle gives us.
But no matter, the road is life. Often times, I stop and reflect on how travel has changed my life.

I never thought this was possible for me but alas, travel opened up so many doors and opportunities for me that often times, I have to pinch myself. For me, travel is living. It is seizing each day and making the most out of every situation. Coming from the Philippines, saving enough money to be able to do a round the world trip was not easy. I hustled…and I hustled hard. Unlike most first world countries, you can get a part-time job during your university years to help build up your savings.
In the Philippines, as minimum wage is low, you virtually have to work multiple jobs in order to make enough to save which is exactly what I did. I was a teacher at that time and worked from 7am-3pm. Afterwards, I would do private tutorials and work for another hours.
At one point, I was earning more from doing extra tutorial work than my job itself. My point behind this is while it seems that all I do now is travel, the quote work, travel, save, repeat is a favorite of mine. Although I no longer work a job, we still apply this theory as we save up for specific trips and holidays along the way. Teacher, to a principal, to backpacker, to travel blogger, and full-time digital nomad.
