The overall kit quality and presentation is excellant. Components are supplied in two sets of compartmented boxes, one being for R's and C's and the other for semiconductors and other devices. The kit was built in a relativly static free environment and no losses were experienced. On initial power up of the transverter, all appeared well, and after a few minutes of tuning, the local 5.

The internal oscillator does move slightly with temperature change, but this can be partially solved by making a lump of polystyrene fit round the oscillator section. The kits are supplied with the option of either an internal oscillator or an external OCXO.
