This is a nice short story tying in some past characters from the author's other books. Some good Prepper tips and nice to have good folks helping others. Characters go their separate ways and we always wonder what happen to them.

This group of preppers always seem to be getting into some type of self inflicted trouble and get out of it easily. I did enjoy reading it. I love all Ron's books, the characters are are detailed, and his knowledge, and tips are real world things that you can use.
One person found this helpful. These books remind you to pay attention to what's going on around you; because you never know when a valuable lesson is being taught right before your eyes. This is a well written book that can easily be read in an evening. It covers an idea and away to solve a problem going back to an old school railroad method of transportation.
I would defiantly recommend this book and Ron has a way of leaving handy little nuggets in info in his books that can be very handy.
