Unfortunately, I found him more annoying than sympathetic. My favorite parts were with his younger brother and although I enjoyed them they almost seemed to get redundant. We begin to learn what is happening to Aldebaren and the young prince through a mysterious book that Leo finds. At the same time, fifteen-year-old Leo remains in Malonia where a repressive dictatorial regime under the new king, Lucien, followed the assassination. They are not important. And in some places the barrier wears thin. I can recommend the book and am looking forward to read the sequel.
