But in that time, God used a divinely timed song on the radio to send Brent a powerful message! Brent was headed to a meeting for work when flashing red lights at the railroad tracks stopped him. But as he waited for the train to pass with the radio silent, he found his thoughts drifting. Brent was surprised to realize how many years had passed since the tragic accident. But it was that time in jail that prompted Mark Wahlberg to make a change by turning his attention to his faith. But I wanted to prove to people through my actions, and not my words, that I was going to change. When he allowed God to take over and focused on his faith, Mark found a new start.
