I felt terrible for Charlie and really wanted to sit down with Marlie for a chat. The suspense went to the end as usual. I felt sad for Ellen having to leave but she did the right thing for Guy. Was so glad for the changes Guy was finally discovering.
I'll miss all the characters as they are part of my life.
Even though I didn't care for the plot of this book as much as some of the others, I will be sorry to say good bye to the people of Baxter. This book was a great end to the Baxter series. I had tears in my eyes reading the end and saying goodbye to characters I have been reading for a while. I really enjoyed the story line between Charlie and Marlene and what they went through. But mostly how they stuck with the Lord and how He didn't give up on them.

I just grabbed this off the shelf because it was listed as a suspense. Imagine my surprise that it was a Christian author and the book was about a marriage in healing after an alleged affair.
