    But I found the story suspenseful and the ending very surprising. I greatly enjoyed this book, both for its accuracy as a sailing story, and for the historical look at the native american customs before smallpox and other diseases wiped them out. Anyone who sails should buy this, and then save it for a rainy night when you are sleeping onboard. Adventure, romance and history wrapped in surreal storytelling.

    Thanks for the great read, Mr. Beautifully written and full of excitement. Being an old sailor, I loved the water adventures. The invovlement in Native culture was fascinating as well, although the ending was bizarre as well as suspenseful. Good adventure combined with some dark native culture moments!!
