I will add that I have the same poster that King describes in her Afterword. My husband gave it to me for Christmas. Very brief, very southern. Would be nice to give to a young southern woman graduating from college. Based on a commencement speech the author gave to her alma mater, a small college in B'ham. King will be visiting our college in April for a bookfest as the keynote speaker, and I'm writing a feature about her for the local paper. I'm looking forward to her being here. She will make a great keynote speaker. Next is King's newest novel Moonrise. Started reading it last night. It's like a contempora Very brief, very southern.

Usually I hate commencement speeches. I registered a book at BookCrossing. This was a great glimpse into the different upbringing. No trivia or quizzes yet. In this small book you will find advice that will only grow in meaning throughout the years.
