He changed his voice for each character, and really went over the top with Powerhouse. Was Tales of the Dim Knight worth the listening time?
I'm torn about this. This could have a been a fun yet stereotypical super hero story. It didn't take itself too serious and had many funny moments.
What I didn't like was how they put all the religious propaganda into it. The book is broken into chapters with the superhero vs some bad guy, and about half of them end up involve religion, going to church, or something else along those lines. No where in the publisher's summary or the author's website does it mention anything about religion and how large a part it plays in this book. Please don't take this to mean I'm anti-religion as I consider myself a religious person. But I'm not a fan of it being pushed on me in a book like this.
