This enjoyable story aspires to help us all in ensuring we live life to the full. It is okay to have dreams and aspirations but don't loose a grip on reality. It enables the reader to empathise with the characters in the book whilst allowing them to put luck, wealth and money into perspective. The message is "be grateful for the experience of life and enjoy the adventure that it is in itself" whatever the financial circumstances are.
This story is fiction mixed in with hope, a dash of suspense, a trickle of comedy topped with a twist of cruelty and an enthralling plot. It is certainly a "different" read and an enjoyable "can't put it down book" that examines the other side of being wealthy and lucky.

Write a product review. Most helpful customer reviews on Amazon. This story never got started. I read several pages of scene or period setting verbosity and little if any character or plot development. I could compare it to the movie "Out of Africa". I attended but succeeded only in wasting several dollars and time that would have been better spent daydreaming. I got the book free, so at least all that was wasted was time enough to lose a hand of solitair. The best things in life are free.
