Unraveling the Mysteries of Moving to Costa Rica by Arden Rembert Brink
Being the serious studious type, I have read many books by expats as I evaluate moving to Costa Rica. This book was well worth reading. It is down-to-earth and practical. It is honest, but able to see and share humor. I will be reading and rereading it as I move toward my own decision point. My chief reservation is that since it was copyrighted , the cost numbers it refers to are hard to trust. An updated edition would be well worth additional investment as far as I am concerned.
The last pages refer to projected later works by the same author.
I will be looking for those and hope they materialized. One person found this helpful.
I felt that this book was really useful for anyone who is considering a move to Costa Rica. Like some of the other reviewers, I read the book "Happier than a Billionaire" and then decided to research as much as I could about the subject. Ever wonder what it would be like to leave the U. This book deftly blends the personal story of the author who, along with her husband and parents, moved from Maine to Costa Rica with incredibly helpful practical advice.
