Well, there is the matter of some hot sex, but as I said, you have to keep an open mind--especially about procreation between the species. Fast and mostly funny, these stories are a gift to us from some very generous authors. Consider them your secret Santas--we'll probably never know who they really are. But what I want to know now is just what is Celestial Mates and where do I sign up?

No, I don't want to marry an alien--already got one. What I'd like to do is try writing one of these stories myself, only I don't know where to go to get the fancy, curlicued book cover. Loved it I had so many emotions while reading this book. The first was laughter. I actually really the that the author add humor to the story line, it helped brighten things up. Next, came the suspense. It kept you on the edge of your seat.

I must say I couldn't put the book down til the end. They were both fighting their fate. At was so obviously to everyone except for them. I also liked that Aisha was a strong female role and not wimpy. Then the author amped up the suspense again Loved it I had so many emotions while reading this book.

The characters are well developed, from the reluctant Aisha to the stubborn Queen, with personalities that worked well with the storyline. Our heroine, Aisha, lets her emotions get the better of her many times. She has a plan for her life and is doggedly pursuing it. Volex is a selfish, self centered, and lazy son of a gun. He sets in motion the adventure of a lifetime. There are ups and downs and we get our HEA.

These stories are so much fun to read. I love the banter and the hot scenes. What I really like is these stories are stand alones; you don't feel pressure to read entire series. This short story isn't what I have expected. I loved the story of Ella and Zarbonov. Ella is strong and sweet. Zarbonov is honest and protective.

The story is well written and the storyline is really interesting. I like the description of the sceneries.

Although this is fiction, the author did such an excellent job with Zarbonov, he's the type of alien that made me want to be abducted by an alien, lol. Ella is distraught about her situation but she is strong and dealing with the hand she has been dealt, glad she wasn't totally wimpy or weepy because only the strong can survive this type of lifestyle change.

Enjoyable quick read Zarbonov has the makings of a prince charming He can think on his feet, is a leader of men, respects women and treats them with respect, and managed to delight me several times. She is abducted from her home which is a really bad home to be in. Lots of money does not make up for a drunken mean father. He is a blue alien that needs a mate and is told to get one. I enjoyed getting to know this curious, sexy, and intelligent heroine who is not afraid to take chances that will benefit both and Earth and Luminar but could ultimately put her career and life on the line.

From the moment I met the gorgeous and commanding Lock, Prince of Luminar, I was ready to get cozy and find out more about what makes the Luminarian men so dominant and delicious! Rebel West soon shows us that there is more than meets the eye on Luminar and that Lock is as moral and noble as his title suggest. Lock is a unique and colorful book boyfriend that delivers punishment in the bedroom that is sure to make your toes curl and is it's own sexy reward.

But the only words I can come up with to describe this book are fresh and innovative. This isn't just a sexy, erotic sci-fi romance. There are layers upon layers of intrigue, hidden agendas, mystery, and outright duplicity. I absolutely loved Cali. She's feisty, self-reliant, her own woman.

And she's brilliant, a true genius! That she's willing to give up a life on Earth and travel to a completely unknown planet, with no information why she's going, and only her expertise to support her, shows just how strong she is. A woman this independent, focused, and brilliant is rare in any sci-fi romance. The details of her mission are overwhelming in their scope.

An entire planet and its civilization are dependent on her, an alien. He's an enigma wrapped in a riddle. Dominant in the most extreme sense of the word, he knows the enormity of the situation facing Cali. Despite the inexorable attraction he feels for Cali, he's mysterious, unreachable, even cold and calculating. To say these two are the antithesis of each other would be an understatement. For them to find any common ground seems impossible. But Rebel West has combined every seemingly contradictory aspect of this story and written a book so compelling I couldn't put it down!

Add to that the supporting characters. They're absolutely integral to the story, to the point where it simply wouldn't work without them. This is a masterful first full-length novel in a new series, and I can't possibly give it anything but five stars! You've created a bewitching, beguiling story! Be an informed reader!
