For my purposes, this is "Growing a Company " and most probably has its place as a road map of the journey from entrepreneur to CEO for the first-time or leadership-challenged entrepreneur. Those who have extensive business leadership experience across several situations will find this unfulfilling.
Those who are new to entrepreneurial leadership or having trouble with transitions may find this extremely useful. If you are leading a fast growing company you have to read this book.

When I first rec'd it, I was a bit disappointed about how thin it was I guess I didn't see how many pages it was when I ordered it , but it makes up for it by being packed full of tremendously useful stories and strategies.
I can't wait to get the 2nd in the series. Unfortunately, it appears they stopped at 2.

I really liked the explanations of changing roles and responsibilities for the leader as the business grows. I regret not having this information earlier in my business career. A very good read for start up entrepeneurs to lead them into the processes and changes required to put structure and rigour into building a sustainable and lasting business. In today's fast-paced world, CEOs have the toughest job of all.

In Katherine Catlin created "Building the Profit Spiral", a growth-planning process that guides CEOs in producing winning growth strategies, avoiding typical pitfalls, building a cohesive management team, and establishing processes for gaining company-wide alignment and commitment to implementation of growth goals.
