Reading : Voluptueux Voyage French Marie Aimery Comminges

I don't quite understand these concoctions in these gel-like formulations. Supposedly many of descriptions allude to perfume-like concentrations that release their aura subtly and sensually. This Elixir Voluptueux is no exception. Here on Fragrantica news, it is described as "a more intensive, opulent and passionate edition.

Normally, two drops of any of Opium's formulations not flankers would permeate any room with its swooning aura. One barely smells the topnotes in this formulation, delightfully fruity and fresh with mandarin, but it slowly, very slow-ly intensifies and unfolds without permeating the room. This is for those who love its voluptuousness but prefer to share its aura only for themselves and those very close to them.

I think it's more noticeable than Chanel No. This is definitely for the person who wants to wear Opium during the day and at the office among those who prefer to smell like next to nothing. To me, Opium is not at all about subtlety.

I treasure all the concentrations, am amazed by even the boldness of the Eau de Toilette. I love its intense rose embraced by bold spicy notes on a thick bed of amber, incense, and opopanax.
